I've seen better pictures of this fabulous mural of Central Park when watching Burt Wolf's travel show on TV once. All at once there he was showing Tavern on the Green and really focusing on the mural. What a thrill. Wonder why Guernsey's Auction House does not show more and better photos of the mural. They get 22 percent buyers premium or I think that is what I read. In our area auction houses get 20 percent seller's commission AND 10 percent buyers commission. Now 22 percent sounds high. Certainly high enough to mention something like it being on Burt Wolf's show and more about the impressive background of the artist Lillian Kennedy. The estimate also sounds WAY low but maybe that is because, again, time was not put into researching the artists background. Didn't a Lillian Kennedy small giclee go for several thousand a a charity auction. Would like to see a photo of that.
